Worst Fantasy Baseball Team Ever?

While scouring the internet for some extra fantasy research, I stumbled across possibly the worst advice giving fantasy baseball blog ever . I’m not saying this one is perfect (but we’re not giving as much advice as discussion) , but this is the guy’s team in a 16 team league - 1,000 inning minimum, 1,500 inning max 5×5 rotiserrie with normal stats (ie ba instead of obp):

C Paulino/Towles
1B Vidro
2B F. Sanchez
SS J. Reyes
3B Figgins
OF Ichiro
OF Ellsbury
OF DeJesus
Util Luis Castillo

Bench: Lofton, Freel

P Harang
P Smoltz
P Lincecum
P Sheets
P Liriano
P CJ Wilson
P Lidge
P Todd Jones
P B.Wilson

Bench: McGowan, Wolf, Fukumori, Rogers

Listening to a guy that drafts a team like that seems like taking advice from this guy: original.jpg

I’m a little verklempt. Talk amoungst yourselves. I’ll give you a topic: The strategy employed by this author is neither smart nor of decent quality, but primarily terrible.  Discuss.

  1. I think A-Rod might out homer his whole team.

  2. I agree McJunk, it doesnt make much sense. He is a bad start or two away from a 3-7 week. I also found it funny how he wrote that Eric Bedard led the AL in strikeouts when he didnt, Scott Kazmir did. This blog isnt perfect, but at least we get our facts straight.

  3. at least he has two of my favorites anchoring his pitching staff: the Harangutan and Todd Jones: Save Machine
